Living Off Grid In An Unorganized Township In Canada.

What an idyllic idea. We have some land. We build and sell tiny homes and lease some land to folks who want to be away from the city life. While it is true, you don’t need a building permit and you do not have to follow the building code, but when it comes to electrical installations that is not the case. If you live in a tiny house the same rules apply as living in a grid tied home. Before you spend any moneys you should make sure that the electrical installation has been or will be inspected by the Electrical Safety Authority and an inspection certificate will be provided.

It is very important to ask your builder / installer some questions before giving the go ahead.
